Compared with other roller bearings, thrust roller bearing are very stiff and require little axial space, and can reduce the friction coefficient and cope stress of the mechanical parts when they do higher speed rotation and linear movement. Thrust roller bearings can be used as single-axis to the position. But its carrying capacity is far greater than the thrust ball bearings.

Thrust roller bearings have different shapes of rollers, which can be divided into:

（1）Thrust roller bearings in 29000 is asymmetric spherical roller bearings. long rollers, large number, high load capacity, usually use oil lubrication and grease lubrication. These bearings would be a priority when do design and selection.

（2）Thrust roller bearing in 80000 is cylindrical roller thrust bearing, also separated bearing. Compared to thrust ball bearings, it usually only suitable for low-speed operation occasions.

（3）Thrust roller bearing in 90000 is tapered roller thrust bearing , which has Large bearing capacity, small sliding speed compared with the bearings 80000type, but its limit speed is too lower. 

（4）Thrust roller bearings in AXK is needle roller thrust bearing. Due to the use of high precision cylindrical roller (needle roller) to increase the contact length, this bearing can obtain high load capacity and high stiffness in a small space.
