Tapered roller bearing features a cup and cone assembly, which refers to the radial thrust rolling bearing, the cup is comprised of the outer ring and the cone assembly consists of inner ring, rollers, and cage, and the inner and outer rings of this kind bearing are tapered raceways, whose bearing capacity depends on the raceway Angle of the outer ring. The larger the Angle is, the greater the bearing capacity will be! Bearings mainly bearing radial and axial combined load. This bearing construction accommodates combined loads and provides low friction during operation. By adjusting one single row tapered roller bearing against a second tapered roller bearing and applying a preload, a rigid bearing application can be achieved.
Tapered roller bearing is separated bearings, which can be divided into different structural types such as single row, double row and four row tapered roller bearings according to the number of rows of rollers installed. Single row tapered roller bearings are separated, can withstand radial loads and axial loads in a single direction. When the bearing is subjected to a radial load, an axial component will be generated, so that another bearing that can withstand the axial force in the opposite direction is needed to balance, whose dimension is in accordance with ISO, then the components can internationally exchange. The double row tapered roller bearing outer ring (or inner ring) is a whole.
