Spherical thrust roller bearing is roughly the same as the self-aligning roller bearings. Spherical thrust roller bearings as with spherical roller bearings, the raceway surface is a spherical surface centered on the bearing center axis. This type of bearing roller is spherical and therefore has a self-aligning function, Is not sensitive to coaxially and deflection of the shaft. Unlike other thrust bearings, spherical thrust roller bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in one direction and simultaneously acting radial loads. The load is transmitted between the raceways via the rollers at an angle to the bearing axis, while the flange guides the rollers. This type of bearing has a very large axial load capacity.
Spherical thrust roller bearings have two kinds of types, symmetric type and asymmetric type. And bearing’s cage generally adopts brass solid frame and stamping frame. Normally, tear code of cage is not marked when the bearing adopts brass solid cage, but the others should be marked with corresponding rear code.
