Insert Ball Bearing
Although its basic performance should be similar to that of deep groove ball bearing, its actual performance is much worse than that of the same specification of deep groove ball bearing.

Insert bearing is actually a variant of the deep groove ball bearings in the 62 and 63 series, but have a convex outer ring and in most cases an extended inner ring with a specific locking device, enabling quick and easy mounting onto the shaft. Insert bearings’ spherical outer diameter surface of the outer ring and can be fitted with the corresponding concave sphere of the bearing seat to play the role of aligning. The spherical ball bearing can be mounted with an inner ring (with a full set of rollers and retainers) and an outer ring respectively. Deep raceway grooves and the balls enable Insert bearings to accommodate axial loads in both directions, radial and axial load, mainly in radial load even at high speeds, generally, it is not suitable to bear the axial load alone.
Insert bearings have strong interchangeability, can be assembled at different shapes bearing seats with the same specification. However, insert bearings have higher load ratings for their size than shallow-groove, but are also less tolerant of misalignment of the inner and outer races.
Insert bearings can be divided into three categories according to the method with the shaft:
(1) spherical ball bearings with jackscrew: UC200 series, UC300 series, UB(SB)200 series;
(2)spherical ball bearing with taper: UK200 series、UK300 series;
(3)spherical ball bearing with eccentric sleeve: UEL200 series、UEL300 series、SA20.
Insert bearings are preferred for the occasions requiring simple equipment and parts, which are mainly used in mining, metallurgy, ceramic, chemical industry, textiles, agriculture, transportation, construction, printing and dyeing machinery etc.
