Bearing Block, which is with the rolling bearing and housing, is an accessory to support the bearing. Generally, most of the insert ball bearing with housing are made of outer diameter sphere, mounted together with the bearing housing having a spherical bore. The outer spherical bearing is mainly used to bear the radial and axial combined load mainly based on the radial load, and generally it is not suitable to bear the axial load alone. The inner support point of the bearing is called shaft, and the outer support point often said to be the bearing block, in a word, where there is a bearing, there must be a support point.

Bearing Blocks, whose housing material for a pillow block is typically made of cast iron or cast steel. Because a bearing can choose different bearing blocks, and a bearing block can choose different types of bearings at the same time.
