Angular contact ball bearings are ball bearings in which the contact angle is increased to offer greater axial load capability and axial positional control. Angular contact ball bearing can sustain radial, axial or combined loads with the axial load. And the larger contact angle type has better axial load capacity while the smaller contact angle type has higher speed ratings. High precision and high-speed bearings’ contact angle usually take 15 degrees. Under the effect of axial force, the contact angle will increase, and the contact angle is generally divided into 15, 30, 40, with the letter C A B. NSK manufacture one kind in a special contact angle 25, A5.

Angular contact ball bearings common options have B -- 40degree contact angle, TVP-- Polyamide Cage, MP-- Machined Brass Cage, G-- Flush Ground, and it generally can be divided into:

(1) Single row angular contact ball bearings, can only withstand axial loads in one direction.  Modes in 78XX、79XX、70XX、72XX、73XX、74XX，and mini modes 70X

(2) Double row angular contact ball bearings are designed to withstand radial and axial loads in any direction corresponding to two single row angular contact ball bearings arranged back-to-back, modes in 52XX、53XX、32XX、33XX、LD57、LD58

(3) Four-point contact ball bearings are radial single-row angular contact ball bearings and separated designed, whose raceways are used to support axial loads acting in two directions. modes in QJ2XX、QJ3XX.

Angular contact ball bearings’ single row, double row and 4-point contact bearings, in which the axial load capacity increases with increasing contact angle. Available in "standard industrial grades" as well as higher precision grades for machine tool applications, which usually are widely used in Machine tool, food machinery, air compressor, electrical equipment、Oil pump, chemical machinery, cooling tower, line stripper, gravity spray gun, various transmission, etc.
